As an adopted daughter of Syracuse, I've listened to, learned from, and worked with the people of Syracuse to make a positive impact in lives along the way.
I've witnessed dynamic change and see the promise ahead of us, while being keenly aware of the challenges before us. I have equal urgency and hope regarding both. My experience has prepared me to continue the progress made and lead Syracuse into her next phase of growth.
Syracuse has had 54 mayors, as the first black mayor, I would bring a unique perspective and identity to empower people to recognize their place in her future.
